Viticulture: Certified organic and biodynamically farmed since 1999. Chardonnay from the southern side of Vertus, with massal-selection vines averaging around 35 years. Soil cultivation, controlled yields and hand harvesting at full maturity.

Winemaking: Gently pressed and lightly settled. Spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in Stockinger casks and vats. Aged on the lees for one year without fining or filtration, followed by at least two years in bottle. Extra Brut dosage of 2 g/L.


Larmandier-Bernier, founded in 1971 by Philippe Larmandier and Elisabeth Bernier, is celebrated for its sustainable, biodynamically farmed Champagnes from Vertus, France. Managed by their son Pierre since 1988, the estate focuses on low-intervention winemaking, emphasizing terroir through minimal dosage in their predominantly Chardonnay-based wines​.
