Viticulture: Certified organic farming. Hand-harvested Nebbiolo from the estate’s 1.2-hectare Borgese parcel within the Albesani MGA in Neive. Southwest-facing at 210–240 metres, with vines aged between 30 and 70 years on limestone-rich clay and silt soils.
Winemaking: Indigenous-yeast fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. Aged in large traditional oak casks, followed by 6–12 months in bottle before release.
Piero Busso, based in Neive, Piedmont, specializes in traditionally crafted wines since 1953. Focused on minimal intervention, they produce Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Barbaresco wines such as San Stunet and Albesani Vigna Borgese.
