Viticulture: Certified organic and farmed biodynamically. Chardonnay from the mid-slope Les Barillers parcel in Vertus. Soil cultivation, massal-selection vines, controlled yields and hand harvesting at full maturity.

Winemaking: Gently pressed and lightly settled. Spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrels and Stockinger foudres. Aged for one year on the lees without fining or filtration, followed by at least six years on the lees in bottle. Brut Nature with 0 g/L dosage.


Larmandier-Bernier, founded in 1971 by Philippe Larmandier and Elisabeth Bernier, is celebrated for its sustainable, biodynamically farmed Champagnes from Vertus, France. Managed by their son Pierre since 1988, the estate focuses on low-intervention winemaking, emphasizing terroir through minimal dosage in their predominantly Chardonnay-based wines​.
