Viticulture: Traditional farming. Hand-harvested Chardonnay from parcels in Villnachern and Schinznach. The sites are blended for complementary freshness, length, body and concentration. Vines grow on clay-rich Jurassic limestone soils, with strict yield reduction and careful clonal selection.
Winemaking: Fermented and aged for nine months in new Seguin Moreau French oak. Natural malolactic fermentation is used for part of the wine. Followed by six to nine months in stainless steel before bottling. Unfiltered.
Weingut Zur Linde, established in 1999 by Michel Jaussi in Linn, Aargau, Switzerland, occupies a historic site transformed from a multipurpose building to a winery. Known for its quality Pinot Noir, the winery combines historical charm with modern winemaking. It is celebrated for maintaining architectural authenticity while incorporating contemporary elements.
