Viticulture: Certified organic farming. 100% Nebbiolo from younger vines in Neive. Southwest-facing vineyards at 180–200 metres on richer clay-sandy soils. Guyot trained. 

Winemaking: Temperature-controlled fermentation and maceration in stainless-steel tanks at 28–30°C. Aged in large neutral oak, followed by further ageing in bottle.  

Piero Busso, based in Neive, Piedmont, specializes in traditionally crafted wines since 1953. Focused on minimal intervention, they produce Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Barbaresco wines such as San Stunet and Albesani Vigna Borgese. The winery emphasizes organic practices and offers varied wine experiences. Its Barbaresco wines are noted for their depth and have received high ratings across vintages​.
