ABV: 13.5%
Bottle Size: 750ml
Blend: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot.
Region: Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, France
Viticulture: Sustainable precision farming. The 75-hectare vineyard is planted at around 10,000 vines per hectare, principally to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Vines average around 35 years and grow on deep gravel terraces overlooking the Gironde estuary. Herbicides are replaced by mechanical cultivation and controlled grass cover; harvesting and selection are conducted parcel by parcel.
Winemaking: Bunches and berries undergo strict sorting, including optical selection. Parcels and micro-parcels are fermented separately in small, temperature-controlled conical stainless-steel vats. Extraction is precise and adapted to each lot. Aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, nestled in Saint-Julien's Cru Classé region, boasts a 300-year legacy shaped by six families. Since 1941, under the Borie family, its name, inspired by the vineyard's "beautiful pebbles," highlights its esteemed terroir. Today, Bruno Borie's stewardship places it at the forefront of Saint-Julien's prestigious wines, continually enchanting Médoc wine aficionados globally with its exceptional vintages.
