Tenuta Tignanello, located in Tuscany's Chianti Classico region, is renowned for pioneering "Super Tuscan" wines, including its flagship Tignanello and Solaia. The Antinori family estate, with a winemaking history since 1385, innovated by using non-native grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, and modern techniques. The estate spans 319 hectares, with 130 hectares of vineyards on Pliocene period soils​.
