Bottle Size: 750ml

Blend: 94% Pinot Meunier and 6% Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay

Region: Champagne, Gueux, Petite Montagne de Reims, France

Viticulture: Low-intervention farming without herbicides or insecticides. A 2.2-hectare field blend planted by massal selection in the 1960s on deep sand, clay and limestone soils. Naturally low yields and late hand harvesting at full maturity.

Winemaking: Rosé d’assemblage combining 87% white Les Béguines with 13% still red Pinot Meunier. Spontaneous fermentation and ten months in 225–600-litre oak barrels. Bottled by gravity without filtration or stabilisation, followed by 14–18 months on the lees. Extra Brut, with a dosage of around 2 g/L.

La Closerie, established by Jérôme Prévost in Gueux, France, is renowned for its Pinot Meunier-focused Champagnes. Prévost's approach emphasizes terroir expression through single-vintage and minimal intervention winemaking.

Les Béguines, the estate's only vineyard site, is cultivated organically, with indigenous yeast fermentations and aging in mixed-age oak barrels. Known for its complexity and cult following, La Closerie's production includes the notable Les Béguines and a rare rosé.
