Domaine Boisson-Vadot was one of Meursault’s most confidential names, admired less for publicity than for the character of the wines themselves. Drawn from old vines in Meursault and neighbouring Côte de Beaune villages, the wines combined natural richness with tension, depth and a strong mineral line. 

At their best, Boisson-Vadot wines show the classic generosity of Meursault, but with notable restraint: textured rather than heavy, concentrated rather than broad, and often marked by a fine reduction that gives them added energy and length. They remain highly sought after by Burgundy drinkers who value white wines with substance, precision and the ability to age gracefully.

The Boisson-Vadot label effectively came to an end with the generational handover around the 2017 vintage, when Bernard Boisson and his wife passed the domaine on to their children, Pierre and Anne. The family holdings did not disappear; rather, they evolved into a new chapter, with the wines now released principally under the Pierre Boisson and Anne Boisson labels from the family cellars in Meursault.
