The Weingut zur Linde in Linn, Aargau, is run by Michel Jaussi. In 2002, he took over the historic building, which was originally built in 1903 and previously served as a village restaurant. After a meticulous renovation that took several years, he restored the house to its original state and established the winery there.

The winery is located in Linn, a small village in the canton of Aargau. The vineyards are situated in the sun-exposed Sonnhalde site, featuring deep, clay-rich Jura limestone soils that provide ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir. The vines, some up to 40 years old, benefit from the southern exposure and the natural cooling effect of the adjacent forest.

The philosophy of Weingut zur Linde is based on an uncompromising dedication to quality. Michel Jaussi places great importance on craftsmanship and knows every vine personally. He strives for high and consistent ripeness of the grapes and uses high-quality barrels with a 75% new oak content for aging. His goal is to produce outstanding Pinot Noirs that can compete with the finest wines in the world.
