Château Smith Haut Lafitte, dating back to the 14th century in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux, was named by Scottish merchant George Smith in the 18th century. Owned by the Cathiard family since 1990, the 67-hectare vineyard primarily grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. Renowned for biodynamic farming, the estate produces prestigious red and white wines, embracing modern technology alongside traditional methods.
