Grassl Glass was founded in 2018 by Alexander Mackh out of the desire to create a cohesive range of glassware that allowed every wine style to express its true identity, to neither disguise flaws nor to miss subtleties: an instrument of enjoyment in pursuit of the truth behind every wine. Although the glasses are known for their timeless and distinctive aesthetics. At Grassl Glass form is a product of function.

Today Grassl Glass is proud to be used in wine estates the world over from the most established names to those at the forefront of the contemporary wine world. What allows Grassl Glass to figure in both the most established and most innovative wineries is a shared commitment to truth and artisanal production.  Whether making an appearance in the most discreet and renowned restaurants or at a legendary winery,  Grassl Glass is synonymous with true connoisseurship and discretion.

The Vigneron collection is the embodiment of the Grassl Glass vision, its name refers to the winemakers who inspired it. The collection was designed to cover every expression of wine with clarity and intention. In collaboration with some of the world’s most respected winemakers, four glass shapes and one decanter were defined.

The Elemental collection was designed for those who require an artisanal product of the highest standards whilst desiring to keep to the essentials: One Wine Glass, a Champagne glass, a water glass and a carafe. A range for those who value simplicity over all. 

Grassl Glass has a deep connection to historic region, the latest collection limited introduces the ultimate in site specific glassware. In the Origin collection an individual glass has been designed for  Villages for example Chassagne-Montrachet or Gevrey-Chambertin. Designed to extract the true character of the greatest wines from each one of these legendary winemaking areas, Origin matches the experience of opening a truly special wine.
