With over 46 vintages under his belt, Jean-Luc Jamet remains true to tradition, bringing his extensive expertise to the estate. His son Benoît, who joined the winery in 2022, has brought a youthful energy to the estate. Their work as a team is incontestably successful, grounded in meticulous care for each parcel, planted to emblematic grape varieties: Syrah, Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne and a small amount of Pinot Noir.

At Jean-Luc Jamet, vineyard work is carried out with minimal intervention to preserve the natural characteristics of individual terroirs. Jean-Luc  firmly believes that the diversity of the various terroirs in Côte-Rôtie compliment each other, and that the true identity of this famed appellation is brought to life through the meticulous blending of these individual vineyard sites.

His Côte-Rôtie “Les Terrasses” is a remarkable synthesis of his vision marrying incredible depth with complexity and authenticity.
