Region: Meursault AOC, Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, France 

Viticulture: Certified biodynamic farming. Chardonnay from several village parcels, with vines averaging around 40 years old. Low yields and hand harvesting with careful selection. 

Winemaking: Whole-bunch pneumatic pressing followed by indigenous-yeast fermentation in barrel. Malolactic fermentation is completed, followed by racking and around 18–20 months of élevage in older French oak barrels.



Domaine des Comtes Lafon

Domaine des Comtes Lafon is one of the great names of Meursault and a benchmark for white Burgundy. Long associated with the Lafon family and today led by Dominique Lafon, the domaine works some of the village’s most celebrated premiers crus, including Les Perrières, Les Genevrières and Les Charmes, alongside important holdings in Volnay and Monthélie.


The wines are known for their depth, texture and ageing capacity, but also for the precision that has come to define the modern domaine. At their best, they capture Meursault’s natural generosity without losing tension: layered, mineral and quietly powerful, with a sense of balance that has made Comtes Lafon one of Burgundy’s most admired estates.
