Region: Nuits-Saint-Georges, Côte de Nuits, Burgundy, France

Viticulture: Organically farmed clay-rich mid-slope parcel directly below the 1er Crus Aux Murgers and Les Boudots, just south of Aux Lavières. Biodiversity-focused farming with careful manual harvesting and selection. 

Winemaking: Fermented with indigenous yeasts using roughly one-third whole bunches, one-third baie-par-baie berries and one-third destemmed fruit, with gentle infusion-style extraction. Aged for around 12 months largely in used Burgundy oak with minimal new oak.

Pierre-Olivier Garcia, a winemaker in Burgundy, France, established his domaine in Nuits-St-Georges in 2016. He specializes in Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Aligoté, and is known for his deep understanding of the region's terroir. Garcia uses a unique, labor-intensive 'baie par baie' method, hand-selecting grapes for highly perfumed, detailed wines. His innovative approach has earned recognition and emulation in the Burgundy wine community​.
