Alexandre Burgaud is a young Beaujolais producer based in Lantignié, a village increasingly seen as one of the region’s most interesting zones beyond the established crus. Coming from a family of vignerons, he represents the fourth generation and has built his own reputation around Gamay grown on granitic soils, with wines that favour freshness, clarity and real Beaujolais character.

The style is bright and direct, but not simple. His wines often show red and dark berry fruit, floral lift and a fine mineral edge, with enough structure to feel serious without losing the easy charm that makes Beaujolais so appealing. Alexandre Burgaud belongs to the newer generation helping to show that villages such as Lantignié can produce wines of precision, energy and genuine identity.
