Gaspard Brochet is part of a new generation giving fresh energy to the Montagne de Reims. Based in Écueil, he took over part of his family’s domaine in 2017 and has quickly become known for Champagnes that are small in production but full of character. Working across parcels in Écueil, Villers-aux-Nœuds and Sacy, he focuses largely on single-vineyard and single-vintage expressions, with all three Champagne varieties playing a role.

The wines are vinous, textured and expressive, often showing ripe fruit, smoky depth and a clear sense of place rather than a polished house style. There is a natural confidence to the work: precise, personal and slightly untamed, with the feeling of a grower still close to the vineyards and willing to let each parcel speak in its own voice.
