Region: Barolo La Serra, Piedmont, Italy

Viticulture: Organically farmed south-facing vineyard in La Morra at around 350 metres. Mineral-rich soils of fossils, stones and black sand. Low yields of around 1 kg per vine. Hand harvested.

Winemaking: Fermented spontaneously in stainless steel for around 20 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in steel. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, around 22% new. Bottled unfiltered.
