ABV: 13.5%

Bottle Size: 750ml

Blend: 65–70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25–30% Merlot completed with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Region: Margaux, Bordeaux, France

Viticulture: Agroecological farming, with more than half of the vineyard cultivated according to organic methods. The 95-hectare vineyard lies across three deep Garonne-gravel hilltops, with the oldest vines planted in 1923. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot are managed parcel by parcel, with interplanting used to preserve the oldest plots. Harvesting is carried out in several passes according to vine age and ripeness.

Winemaking: Grapes are gently destemmed, manually and optically sorted, then given a cool pre-fermentation maceration. Fermented in concrete and stainless-steel vats with gentle infusion-style extraction and around 35 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation takes place in vat. Aged for around 17 months in French oak, with 50% new barrels.
