Blend: 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, completed by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. 

Region: Margaux, Bordeaux, France

Viticulture: Conversion to organic farming. The estate has 87 hectares of red vines divided into 126 mapped parcels. Vines average around 35 years, with the oldest parcel planted in 1951. Deep Garonne gravel, sand and clay over limestone and clay formations provide drainage and deep rooting. Permanent and temporary cover crops are adapted parcel by parcel.

Winemaking: Rigorous parcel selection means around 40% of the harvest is retained for the grand vin. Aged for an average of 21 months in 100% new French oak barrels, including barrels made in the estate’s own cooperage.
