Domaine Prieuré Roch is one of Burgundy’s more distinctive modern estates, founded in 1988 by Henry-Frédéric Roch. Closely linked by family history to Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Roch nevertheless created a domaine with a voice very much its own: independent, unconventional and rooted in a strong belief in traditional, organic and biodynamic viticulture.

Based around important parcels in Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges and beyond, the wines are known for their fragrant fruit, whole-cluster character and often unpolished vitality. They can feel less classical than many Côte de Nuits wines, but that is part of their appeal: vivid, savoury and exuberant, with a sense of freedom that made Prieuré Roch one of the most recognisable domaines of its generation.
