Cesare Bussolo

Cesare Bussolo, born and raised in La Morra, at the heart of the Barolo region, graduated from the Alba Wine School in 1998. He then worked at the Bovio winery in La Morra until 2006. Since 2007, he has served as an oenologist at Roberto Voerzio, one of the most renowned producers in Piedmont. In 2009, Bussolo began producing his own wines after acquiring a 90-year-old vineyard in the Santa Lucia area of La Morra and replanting it with high-density vines.
His vineyards are spread across Piedmont and are farmed organically. Bussolo focuses on the Nebbiolo and Barbera grape varieties, from which he produces distinctive Piedmontese wines. Among his notable wines are the Barolo from the renowned "Fossati" vineyard in La Morra and the Barbera d'Alba from the "Santa Lucia" vineyard.
