Blend: Typically 80–90% Merlot and 10–20% Cabernet Franc.

Region: Pomerol, Bordeaux, France

Viticulture: Certified environmental farming. The 11.8-hectare vineyard is divided into 16 parcels. Grey clay dominates the northeastern section, while sandy gravel lies toward the southwest. Vines average around 35 years, with the oldest parcels planted in 1958. Hand harvested in small crates. 

Winemaking: Five-day cold pre-fermentation maceration followed by parcel-by-parcel vinification in temperature-controlled concrete vats. Maceration lasts around four weeks, with a small proportion fermented directly in barrel. Aged for 14–18 months in French oak, generally with 50–70% new barrels and occasional amphora use depending on the vintage.

Château La Conseillante, situé à Pomerol, Bordeaux, appartient à la famille Nicolas depuis 1871. Le domaine produit des vins élégants et complexes à base de Merlot et de Cabernet Franc. Ses 12 hectares de vignobles, avec des sols d'argile et de graves, confèrent aux vins finesse et longévité. La capsule violette et le "N" sur l'étiquette symbolisent l'histoire riche du château.
