Blend:  85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Merlot.

Region: Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, France

Viticulture: Sustainable farming. Vines averaging 52 years at 8,600 vines per hectare from the historic 55-hectare walled Clos beside the Gironde, adjoining Château Latour. Quaternary gravel over gravelly sand and clay, with deeper clay pockets throughout the clos. Hand harvested and managed parcel by parcel. 

Winemaking: Vinified parcel by parcel in temperature-controlled vats, with extraction adapted to each lot and vintage. Aged for around 18–20 months in 75–90% new wood. Traditionally fined with egg white before bottling.

Le Château Léoville-Barton, dans l'appellation Saint-Julien de Bordeaux, est détenu par la famille Barton depuis 1826. Classé comme Deuxième Grand Cru Classé en 1855, il possède un vignoble de 116 acres principalement planté de Cabernet Sauvignon. Connu pour ses vins nécessitant un vieillissement prolongé, le riche passé du Léoville-Barton et sa qualité constante reflètent le dévouement de longue date de la famille à l'art de la vinification.
